Patient Transporter

Must be able to safely assist the patient in and out of cars and buses using proper body mechanics. Must be certified in CPR and able to assist if needed in a crisis. You must have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to document in an EVV system properly. Ability to coordinate with the office staff. Must have at least six months of experience in Transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Doctor’s Appointments
  • Medication Pickups
  • Grocery Store
  • Shopping Trips
  • Dialysis Appointments

Working Environment

The work environment will consist of the client’s home. The employee will come into the office space for meetings and other assigned times.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary
  • Ability to participate in physical activity
  • Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity
  • Heavy lifting
  • Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
  • Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes.
  • Reliable cellular device.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous personal Care Attendant Experience preferred
  • Current TB or willingness to receive one
  • Complete skills check
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and Car Insurance
